I saw a commercial the other for a divorce attorney. The commercial started with 3 words flashing on the screen: QUICK, EASY, AFFORDABLE!
So I just want to know what part of having my heart ripped out of my chest, having to start all over, and bouncing from residence to residence was quick, easy, and affordable? Were the therapy bills affordable? Was it easy moving back into my parent's house? It took about a year & a half to separate our finances and property. Was that quick? Oh yeah, and lets not forget all of the credit card debt that was converted to my name shortly before we parted ways. We split in April of 2002. It's now July 2011 and I think it is safe to say that I've paid off all of the debt that was created while I was married. That was easiest part of the divorce.
